My goal as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor is to normalize the therapeutic process and help individuals develop insight in an open, accepting, and accommodating environment free from judgment or reproach.

As a Philadelphia native and military veteran, I relocated to North Carolina to pursue my passion for counseling. Over the course of my career, I've had the privilege of working with adolescents and adults in both individual and group settings, in community mental health settings, and in private practice.

I have completed extensive training in Full-Model Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). My approach to therapy is person-centered, compassion-focused, and culturally sensitive. My areas of focus include anxiety and depression, grief and loss, stress and burnout, trauma, and men’s health and well-being. I offer individual therapy and DBT group therapy.

When not in counseling, I enjoy spending time with my family, working outside, and exploring my adopted region of the Triangle.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Social Work, my passion for community work and psychotherapy is deeply rooted in my lived experiences, which have driven me to pursue a career dedicated to helping others.

I have over a decade of experience working with diverse populations, including youth, adolescents, and older adults. My extensive background in addressing social, behavioral, and mental health needs inspired me to pursue a career in therapeutic support.

I specialize in providing assistance to individuals, couples, and families experiencing grief, anxiety, depression, familial issues, life transitions, PTSD, suicidal ideations, substance abuse and addictions, and behavioral disorders. My goal is to help individuals develop meaningful skills and techniques to navigate life's challenges. I am committed to offering a person-centered approach, tailoring treatment to each client's unique needs, desires, and goals.

I believe in treating the “whole person” by closely evaluating social, physical, environmental, and behavioral health needs. My therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and a Strengths-Based Approach. I strive to create a non-judgmental, unbiased environment where individuals feel supported, comfortable, and safe to share their experiences.

While empowering clients to be the “driver” of their own success, I ensure that therapy is both tangible and beneficial. Life can be challenging, and everyone deserves a safe place. I hope to provide that sanctuary for you, helping you navigate through your journey with confidence and resilience.
